Panaji: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the initial timetable for the Class X and XII public exams in 2025. The Class XII exams are expected to take place from February 1 to 15, 2025, while the Class X exams are scheduled for March 1 to 20, next year. The board has moved up the exam dates by approximately 28 days for 2025 due to concerns about rising temperatures resulting from global warming. Board Chairperson Bhagirath Shetye mentioned that this decision was made in response to students experiencing discomfort during the 2024 exams due to heat. All exams will now be concluded before March 31, starting in 2025, with results expected to be declared by the end of April. This adjustment aligns the exam schedule with national timelines and is consistent with other central and state boards.
